Two separate reports found that there is very little improvement in waits times for medical care in Canada. One was done by Wait Time Alliance and another by the Fraser Institute. It comes as no surprise that the longest wait times are for orthopedic surgery at more than 40 weeks. One will need to add another 20-30 weeks to the wait time it takes to jump through the hoops in order to get on wait list for the surgery.
